My name is Chad Berkley and I've been shooting photos for about 15 years. I started shooting weddings and events about 2 years ago. I also enjoy shooting landscapes and wildlife. My professional background is in software design but I worked during high school and college on the newspaper staff as a writer, editor, photographer and technical consultant. I also have experience doing design and layout as well as web development. Although I do not count myself as a studio photographer, I have spent time in the studio and can get great results in a studio environment.

Personally, I like to do anything that gets me outside, usually with my camera in tow. Hiking, climbing, skiing, surfing or paddling are some of the many activities in which I love to partake. My new favorite photographic subject is my baby daughter and she now joins me on many of my outdoor adventures. I live in Portland, Oregon with my wife and daughter.
